Great fun way to kill hours
Great fun way to kill hours
I loved this game as a kid and the developer did a great job making Warlords an app. Warlords III next please!
I really enjoy the idea of taking classic games and porting them to the iPad. This is a great example of someone doing it right, and the updates with map add-ons is an extra plus.
I wish there were either more maps, or a possibility of building new random maps. I wish heroes didnt die so easily in ruins, and being able to buy heroes with allies kind of ruins things if you ask me.
Faithful port of the original!
Me and my friends enjoy this game a lot, there are still a handful of bugs and glitches but we are all looking forward to more updates and maps
Didnt download properly, I had to restart phone. Is completely unreadable/unplayable on the phone anyway. Worthless.
This is a fantastic port of the classic Warlords II. :) Goodbye weekend....
for all the people that want to download this app; DONT, its a very low app, infact its the app that it is in the top worst game apps @developer - WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD I CHOOSE THIS APP INST. OF SOMETHING ELSE Game of War is 1 trillion better then this or Mortal Combat or another 99 apps :))) this is a joke, a person who bought a iPhone 6 plus, doesnt even want to play a game like this, graphic is way unde -100 score people please its like a joke I EXPECT YOUR RESIGNATION ON MONDAY!!!!!!
One of the best gaming franchise ever. Played them all growing up. This version is very true to the original games. The developer continues to bring features to the game and it has evolved in the same way that the original game added features. Ive had games last months (single player vs 7 AI players) for an epic campaign. Yes, you can play a quick battle on a small map but having the full AI to battle against is a good challenge. Best money Ive spent on a game.
I have always been a big fan of the original game on the Mac. This iOS version is fantastic and captures the many details that made the original so fun to play. Even better, it’s possible to play multiplayer against other people. The developer is constantly adding new maps. (Dragon Realms is currently in development as I write this.) Works amazingly well on the iPhone, although the extra real estate of the iPad is much appreciated. Highly recommended!!
I bought this game when it came out for PC a long time ago and loved it. This is a great port for phone/pads. Also, putting a list of unit info and their bonuses would be helpful in the game. Overall, very impressive. Update.... The new Dragon Realms update is great. To the developer: please include ability to build production in cities... That is all.
Old school awesomeness! Hours of fun! This classic keeps getting better with age!
I used to play this on an old old Macintosh. These guys ported this game perfectly. Its true to its original form with some convenient modifications like increased speed, easy troop vectoring and an alternate battle AI.
I like that that game.. i never played been before.. now i play wow very very like thanks..... From.MyanmarNational.
This game is a very deep strategy game. Ive played now for three days and Im still on my first game. I love games like this where you really have to think about every move and think twice before attacking.
There are enough annoying things to make this game less than thrilling to play. Im used to Warlords II that had much more ability to customize units and gameplay, so I guess it just takes getting used to. For example: you cant buy units to be added to a city; levels are capped at 9 strength; there arent any move doubler items; there arent any quests and on the iPhone the Clear button is gone, so you cant deselect the path created accidentally for a given unit. Most annoying. Please bring Warlords II to the iPad!
I, too, played the original Warlords and Warlords II. This is a decent port but some very important gameplay factors have been changed or are missing. 1) As another reviewer mentioned, please put in the ability to buy production in cities. It was an important thing in the original. 2) Also mentioned by another reviewer: Where are the quests and sages? 3) Id like to be able to tell on the Ruins map which sites are temples. 4) Some aspects of movement have been changed from the original. For example, in the original game, you could attack a city with only 1 movement left. Not in this version. Isnt the movement cost 1 in a city? Another example: giant bats movement in the original game was huge (48?). They were so weak, their high movement was the only reason you would produce them. Now its, what, 16? 5) There seems to be an issue, under certain circumstances, with the UI following an AI unit when its moving. This gives the appearance of an invisible enemy unit. 6) No, I have not read the manual. I didnt feel that I needed to. So, this is probably why I dont know what "dragon throne" is and why it can be in two places. Overall, I am enjoying the game and give it a positive review. Obviously, a lot of hard work went into this. Keep it up!
This is a must own for every fan of the original. One of the best reasons to own an iPad.
Loved this game in my Mac Plus. Still love it now. Well done
