Warlords Classic Strategy App Reviews

In a time when game "greatness" is reduced to visual sensationalism, technical complexity or controller finesse, Warlords demands one actually employs strategic thinking and imagination. Not a game for the easily amused.

Faithful to the original game. Game play is intuitive and easy. I cannot stop playing–serious nostalgia trip! It runs well on my iPhone 5 - my only minor complaint is that the game is a bit small for older iPhones. Im updating to a newer phone before long though and as-is the game is perfectly optimized for new phones and iPads. Update, 11/11/2016: I now have a iPhone 6S and the game sizing is perfect for 6/7 and 6/7S. Still my best iPhone game purchase to date!

Total blast from the past! Very nice port, exactly as I remembered. If the developers add a random map generator, I would jump for joy.

I played Warlords years ago on my PC. I really enjoy this app as it fun and strategic.

The game is great. Thanks. I would like to see a larger font for the iPhone. It is very difficult to read. And, I would like the ability to upgrade production like the old PC game.

The first and only app that I have paid money for. It was well worth it. Just like the old game. No bugs yet either. (Iphone 6) Love this game.

This is one of the best games I have ever played. Ive spent almost one hundred hours on it, and it is still just as good as it was the first time I played. Well worth the money

One of my favorite strategy games. This is a faithful port. Hope for adding new units in city production soon.

Back in college in the Early 90s a buddy had this game and 3 of us took turns in between studying, finals, a jigsaw puzzle and this game. Good times (well, maybe not the finals). Love this game, Ill play 3-4 campaigns at once and a game might take a month. Awesome game.

Pretty much exactly as I remember this game, its great. Thanks for porting this to iOS and really putting some work into it. Classic fun.

Nice to see and play it again... Please, do the same with Warlords II Deluxe !!! Much more fun to play...

Its the old Warlords. Its basic conquest game with a Lord of the Ring twist to it.
